Information:
After you've customized your character you will appear in a city named "Lumbridge"
Lumbridge is the hometown of RuneScape. This is a place where you can train, talk, sell, bank and teleport yourself into other cities. When you've have spawned in Lumbridge you will have a "Brooden shield" and a "Bronze Longsword" This is the badest weapon and the shield in RuneScape, but once you're getting stronger you'll be rewarded to equip better weapons and shields. Once you've reached the highest level which is 99 a total of 13,034,431 experience, you can buy a Attack Skillcape for 99.000 gold coins in a dangerous place named Warrior Guild. The Skillcape has great Stats and bonuses. It also show your hard work to other players in-game.
Weapons are wieldable items that a player can use to inflict damage in combat. All players wield weapons in their right hand, (with the exception of defenders, which are wielded in the left hand, or shield slot.) or, if they are wielding a 2H (two handed) weapon, in both hands. If a player is using a two-handed weapon, they may not have any items equipped in the shield slot at the same time. In the case of thrown weapons, which are stackable, multiples of the same thrown weapon may be equipped in the weapon slot at once.
Most weapons have a primary mode in all three styles and a secondary mode in the aggressive or controlled style. The secondary mode is normally weaker, but may be more appropriate to your target win.
Here is a short list of the diffrent metals from badest to best in F2P (free to play):
- Bronze weapons give small attack and strength bonuses, allowing players hit more often and slightly harder than that of an unarmed status but not as hard as they would with weapons stronger than steel. It is common for low level players to wield them as they are very cheap and can be created with a low smithing level.
- Iron weapons are stronger than bronze weapons but are weaker than steel weapons, so a player could achieve better results using steel weapons. There are no requirements to wield an iron weapon. While iron is slightly more expensive than bronze, many low-level players use it often as it is still fairly cheap and the equipment can be created with a fairly low smithing level.
- Steel weapons give low attack bonuses. Players require an Attack level of 5 to wield them. They are more expensive and powerful than iron, but less powerful than black/white and mithril equipment.
- Black equipment consists of weapons and armour stronger than steel equipment, yet weaker than mithril equipment. As with all things black, they have a black colour. Black, along with its counterpart White, is a coloured form of Steel as a result from specialised forging techniques which also slightly increase its defensive capability.
- Mithril is a metal stronger than black which can be made by players through refining Mithril ore. It is commonly called "mith" by players, and is dark blue in colour.
- Adamant, short for Adamantite, is a metal stronger than mithril but weaker than runite. In appearance the substance is a dust, pale green colour. Adamant can be used by all players, as long as they possess level 30 attack/defence.
- Rune is the second best (but best non-degradable) equipment in free to play worlds. It is stronger than adamant equipment but weaker than corrupt dragon equipment. In the past, rune equipment was often criticised as being "too expensive", especially to free players. The price of rune equipment was controversial, as non-combat skillers with a decently high level in their speciality and therefore make good money have no problem purchasing such items. However, in recent times, due to rapidly falling prices, the vast majority of players can afford a full set of rune by the time they reach the requirements to use said equipment. Many players have enough money to afford much more expensive variations of rune armour, such as trimmed, gold-trimmed, gilded, heraldic, or armour in the colour of the gods.
Let the Adventure begin!
If you've read the Information we've wrote we think you're ready to begin your Adventure.
When you first start to train Attack you hit high really rare (you'll see you start to hit high hits often as your Attack level increases). Before you start, head over to the Weapon shop in Al-kharid and trade Zeke. Buy all the Scimitars (remember to bring at least 20.000 gold coins. If you don't have enough cash to buy those Weapons please read our Money Making Guides!)
Use those Weapons in this order:
Attack Level 1-10 = Iron Scimitar
Attack Level 1-20 = Steel Scimitar
Attack Level 1-30 = Mithril Scimitar
Attack Level 1-40 = Adamant Scimitar
Attack Level 40-60 = Rune Scimitar
Attack Level 60-99 = Dragon Scimitar (your choice)<--- Dragon Scimitar can be bought form players
Attack Level 70-99 = Abyssal Whip (your choice)<--- Abyssal Whip can be bought from players. Or be dropped from a Slayer creature named Abyssal Demon
Step 1: Use your Magic spellbook to teleport to Lumbridge. Walk out of the castle and over the bridge. When you see the gate you can enter to go into Al-Kharid, walk East and go into the Farm next the Cows. Kill the Chickens until you've reached level 15 Attack (pick up the feather for profit).
Step 2: Once you reach 15 Attack, walk over to the cows. It shoudln't be hard to find them since you can see them from where you've killed chickens. Kill cows until you reach 40 Attack (pick up bones and cowhides, once your inventory is full. Go bank them and go back to slaughter more Cows).
Step 3: After you've slaughtered about 100+ cows you're 40 Attack. Now head back to Lumbridge Castle and enter your Bank. Unwield you Adamant Scimitar and equip your brand new Rune Scimitar (if your defence level is low bring with you some food. Exit your Bank and click on the White teleport to Camelot right next to you. You will appear in the Castle of Camelot! Open the door and walk North-East. When you see the bank walk East again and follow the roads. Next time you have the opportunity to walk East, do it! Or you will walk into Sinclair Mansion, and you don't want that. Follow the roads and cross the bridges. When you've walked so far you're standing next to a purple teleport continue your adventure North-East. Stop walking when you can see a crawling creature named Rock Crabs. This will be your base until you've reached 99 Attack. When you reach level 60 Attack on Rock Crabs, teleport home and switch your Rune Scimitar with your Dragon Scimitar. When you reach 70 Attack you can still continue using Dragon Scimitar or you can switch to Abyssal Whip (Abyssal Whip is really effective when it comes to Attack, but it's much more exspensiver).
If you kill Rock Crabs you gain really fast XP (experiences. Rs-remake.com has 300+ more creatures to kill if Rock Crabs don't joy you enough!
Hope our guide work, Best regards the RSRDB Team.
